How to and why you should attend the Internship Fair
The Internship Fair is the best way to have face-to-face contact with a variety of employers who have internship opportunities in the fall, spring, and/or summer and want to speak with KU students. When you submit your resume to a company’s website, you are merely one of many. At the Internship Fair, you become more than just another application in the system. You are a real person with great skills to offer the employer.
They will remember you because you have engaged in a conversation with them. When you make a positive impression in person, it greatly increases the likelihood that an employer will do something with your online application. The Internship Fair only happens once in the fall – take advantage of it! You won’t regret it, and it may be the gateway to a wonderful opportunity you didn’t even know existed.
KU Career Services invites you to participate in the 2017 Internship Fair. This event offers your organization the opportunity to meet with college students to present your internship opportunities. For many organizations this is an extremely effective way to introduce your organization to potential candidates. The Internship Fair is open to all majors and all class levels, from freshman through PhD students.
